Results: Estradiol Levels
Important for normal brain function and libido. Increased levels are related to enlarged prostate, obesity and heart disease.
Please note:
Since estraidol is a testosterone-by product, Borderline or deficient testosterone levels can result in reduced levels of estradiol. Therefore, it is important to recheck your levels of estradiol with any program that restores optimal testosterone.
< 0.8 mg/dl:
DEFICIENT
Your estradiol levels are deficient. Remember, while high levels of estradiol are undesired, adequate levels are important for healthy brain function and libido. The two most common causes of low estradiol are low testosterone levels and too high a dose of anti-estrogen nutrients and/or medications.
0.8 - 1.5 mg/dl:
OPTIMAL
Congratulations! Your estradiol levels are in an optimal range and represent the target area for healthy living and overall well-being. You should strive to maintain levels in this range.
> 1.5 mg/dl:
EXCESSIVE
Your estradiol levels are excessive and indicate a marked hormonal imbalance. Please assess lifestyle risk factors associated with high estrogen levels and refer to “Be All the Man You Can Be” for more information on restoring healthy male hormones.*
