Low DHT Levels

Your sex hormone, a by-product of testosterone metabolism, is the critical hormone involved with sexual function and prostate health.

Please note:
Since DHT is a testosterone-by product, borderline or deficient testosterone levels can result in reduced levels of DHT.

< 25 pg/ml:
DEFICIENT
Your DHT levels are low. While high levels of DHT are undesirable, adequate levels are important for healthy sexual function and libido. Aside from aging, the most common causes of low DHT are too high a dose of prostate nutrients and/or medications (i.e saw palmetto, proscar, finasteride) and low testosterone levels.

25 - 40 pg/ml:
OPTIMAL
Congratulations! Your DHT levels are in an optimal range. This represents the target area for healthy living and overall well-being.

> 40 pg/ml:
EXCESSIVE
Your DHT levels are excessive and indicate a marked hormonal imbalance. This is unusual and is almost always associated with dosing issues. We recommend that you consult with your healthcare provider.
