OptiMale was founded in 2000 by Richard Cohen, M.D., a nationally recognized authority in the use of diet and nutritional supplements to enhance male performance and increase overall wellness. A graduate of Hahnemann Medical University in Philadelphia, PA and Duke University’s undergraduate program, Dr. Cohen brings more than 15 years of experience with male health concerns to OptiMale.

“I founded the company because the vast majority of men have no idea why they are feeling so poorly and what they can do about it. The key reason is that most men—and their doctors—are completely unaware of the global effects that less than optimal levels of testosterone and other important male hormones can have on their health and well-being.”

The company’s natural testosterone booster and saliva male hormone test kit are based on over ten years of clinical research.

Dr. Cohen practices medicine in Bend, Oregon, where he lives with his wife and two children. “You could say that health and wellness is my passion. My second passion is training my son in baseball.”
